Colin Miles Curbgag

The Colin Miles is a great schooling bit with a 55mm centre piece creating greater tongue pressure.
The rings give the horse something to play with and help keep the horses attention on the bit.

The Curb Gag is a new addition to Bombers, this cheek piece uses the concept of a Rope gag and instead of using that pressure to apply poll it is used to apply curb pressure, from the second/bottom rein, although poll is not removed as there is a similar action to the Portuguese/Ring or Drop/Hanging cheek on the bit/top rein. A ring can be added to the bottom to create more poll pressure.

All our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:

·         oxidises easily

·         encourages salivation

·         helps bit acceptance

·         is warm and sweet

Please note the blue will fade with use.
