Bombers Bit Twisted Mullen 2.5 Ring

The Twisted Mullen 2.5 Ring by Bombers Bits is a strong bit which creates direct pressure on the tongue which will in turn create direct pressure on the bars. Often used for a strong older horse and will also bring the head down.

Furthermore, the Square Twist will create more pressure points on the mouthpiece and as a result will make it stronger than the twisted wire and round bar.

A Ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure as well creating leverage on the mouthpiece. The 2 ½ ring version is the softest version of ring bit as the ½ ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll.

Additionally, all our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:

• oxidises easily
• encourages salivation
• helps bit acceptance
• is warm and sweet

Please note the blue will fade with use.
