We’d like to introduce you to ‘Team Hankey’, an international Eventing team lead by Hayden Hankey – Hayden is sponsored by Bombers Bits. Bombers as a range was introduced to the UK by World Wide Tack’s MD, Stephen Biddlecombe. Hayden is a world class rider who has big ambitions. Last year was finished on a real high, with the lovely mare Perfect Poppy, aka ‘You’ve got the Lux’, coming 10th at the 6yo World Young Horse Championships at LeLion in France. The pair also placed top210 at the recent Rockingham Intl Horse Trials, at the two-star (CIC).

Hayden also gained a brilliant result at Tattersalls recently, placing fifth with Laura Cocking’s ‘Quanti Du Vi’ (left), in the one star (CCI) and also placed fifth at Floors Castle one-star (CIC) with the same ride.

The team’s aim for this year is to place at the young horse world championships – Hayden’s ride ‘Novaturient’, a 6 y/o, is showing real promise!

“Between the events we have also been contesting British Showjumping with the two eventers, plus ‘Tawnmore Lux Crusalier’, who is showing great promise as a show jumper, aiming for some of the bigger jumping shows this summer,” Hayden says. “Lucky, who’s by the top-ranked jumping stallion Kannan, is also really coming along beautifully. We’re looking ahead to the season and are big fans of Bombers Bits, as they’re well-engineered, and the range is amazing.”
